GARDEN WEDDING ORANGERIE D’HEERSTAAYEN | WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY HOTEL NASSAU BREDA | KIM & ROGIER
In May this year the moment had finally arrived and I could call myself wedding photographer Domaine D’Heerstaayen. As a cherry on the pie – and thanks to KIm & Rogier – I also had the opportunity to create wedding photography in Hotel Nassau in Breda, both wedding venues had been on my wish list for a while so happy days!
The Orangerie of Domaine D’Heerstaayen, where the majority of the day took place, is an idyllic wedding venue in the south of the Netherlands. It is located in Strijbeek, near Galder and close to the city of Breda. Hotel Nassau is situated only 15 mins by car away and finds itself in the heart of Breda city centre. Thanks to its rich catholic history it is a truly remarkable wedding venue as it used to be a convent.
As usual we started the day capturing the preps of bride & groom at two different locations, one of the many advantages when booking s second shooter (check out the ‘Style & Approach’ section here). After the first look of bride & groom we started the portrait session in the area of Domaine d’Heerstaayen, proceeding with the ceremony which took place in Heerstaayen’s garden.
Also the rest of the festivities took place here and only at the end of the day we moved to the city of Breda for some more portrait shots at the Hotel Nassau. What a venue and what a great day!
