Wedding in Bergen Zoom | Wedding photographer St. Gertruidiskerk, Markiezenhof & De Maagd
On a nice day in May we started as wedding photographer Bergen op Zoom at Eefje & Rick’s house, where the bride was about to start her preparations.
 
We had met this cute couple earlier this year for their pre-wedding shoot in Breda and today was their big day! They wanted both their preparations to be captured, so my usual second shooter was with Rick to capture his getting ready.
 

 
The preps and the couple’s ‘first look’ were great and Rick was visibly touched when he saw his bride. Unfortunately we had a typical dutch weather day and so we had to go to ‘plan B’ for the photo shoot. Something different, as we went to a shopping mall, but nonetheless a cool locations, also thanks to the ‘props’ that Eefje had brought with her.
 

 
After the formals it was time for the religious ceremony at the St. Gertrudischurch, also known as ‘The Peppermill’, at Bergen op Zoom’s main square.
 

 
The Markiezenhof was the setting for the reception, which of course started with the cutting of the cake. What a great location this is, we took a few more shots of the couple for that precise reason…
 

The day came to its conclusion at the ‘De Maagd’ location, what a great setting for a party!
