Sarah & Peter got married in Rotterdam | Wedding photography at the Markthal, Het Heerenhuys and De Vertrekhal
Sarah and Peter celebrated love last year by getting married in Rotterdam, and we were so lucky to be their wedding photographer Rotterdam, capturing their special day for them. Earlier that year we had already done a lovely pre-wedding shoot with them, so we already knew we were in for a fantastic day with these two!
 
The preps started in two different locations, one wedding photographer (that would be me) at Sarah & Peter’s house, a lovely appartment right above the Markthal in the heart of Rotterdam and my usual ‘second shooter’ to Peter’s mum’s and dad house. At both locations there was lots going on so time flew by and before we knew it, Peter was there to pick up his bride. After an emotional ‘first look’, we started at the Markthal for the portrait shoot of the couple where we were able to create not only some wonderful memories for Sarah & Peter, but were also able to create a couple of images that have later won two Wedisson Awards!
 
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Heerenhuys venue, and was conducted by the lovely wedding official Michaëla Halewijn. Toast and cake-cutting was done straight after, although we were able to do a few more portarit shots at the venue and then everybody back into the double-decker bus and off to one of our favourite party venues, De Vertrekhal, for dinner and further celebrations. What a party, the day ended on a real high!   Dear Sarah & Peter, we wish you lots of love and happiness for the future!
