WEDDING REPORTAGE HUIS DEN DEIJL | MASTBOS FOREST BREDA, THE NETHERLANDS | JASMINE & PATRICK

Jasmine and Patrick asked me to be their wedding photographer Breda for their outdoor wedding at Huis Den Deijl in the Mastbos forest in Breda. It was a beautiful day! I started in Dordrecht where bride & groom preps took place at two different locations, after which the English taxi – their wedding car as Jasmine is part English – took us to the wedding venue where family & friends had already gathered.

Huis Den Deijl is a truly gorgeous location, situated in the middle of the forest, where I have worked a couple of times now and always with great pleasure! Bride and groom had chosen to have an outdoor wedding so the ceremony was held in the patio-like accessory building in the garden behind the main venue, gorgeous! The couple were wed by officiant Wikke van Dijk, a wonderful person and very professional Babs, whom we have had the pleasure of working with before. It was a beautiful ceremony which culminated in the cutting of the nude cake and the popping of the bubbles!

Shortly after it was just us so we walked the small distance to the heather-lands in the forest, called the Galderse heide. This place never ceases to amaze me! I come here a lot for photo shoots, like Angela & Patrik’s pre-wedding shoot, Maartje & Bart’s loveshoot or Evelien & Bas’ portrait session on their wedding day.

In short, another great day with fond memories for both bride & groom and myself! Thank you dear Jasmine & Patrick for having me with you on your special day :-).
