Multi-cultural wedding in the Netherlands | Dutch-Moroccan wedding
Multicultural wedding reportage of Dutch-Moroccan wedding by wedding photographer Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands
This amazing Dutch-Moroccan wedding in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands was was the last one of the season and we could not have wished for a more spectacular ending! What a day! It doesn’t happen very often that happiness, joy and emotion come together in such an abundant way and with something happening every minute of the day… If it wasn’t the Moroccan band that played at all the crucial moments, it was the spontaneous start of a ‘polonaise’ on the all-time favouorites of Guus Meeuwis…
We started the day at two different locations to capture the preps of both bride & groom The bride looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress and let’s not forget an awesome pair of Jimmy Choo‘s at her feet to complete the picture.
The groom – who looked quite stunning himself – was visibly impressed when he came to pick up his bride while Moroccan band Dakka Salah Eddine was playing. After having eaten some dates and drunk some milk, a proper Moroccan wedding tradition, we all left for the Markiezenhof venue in Bergen op Zoom, where the civil ceremony was going to take place.
After the ceremony we made our way to restaurant De Berk in Bergen op Zoom, but not before taking a moment to salute the loved ones that couldn’t be present on this special day.
After the toast, cake cutting and some speeches full of emotion the party started at Zalencentrum de Raayberg in Bergen op Zoom, where after dinner bride & groom made their entrance in traditional Moroccan wedding attire, following the Moroccan tradition. This was followed by a spectacular firework show which also marked the end of our time but the party continued until the early hours of the following day.
What an ending to an amazing day! Dear bride & groom, thank you for having us!
