Getting married in festival style at camping Lievelinge | Oscar & Margriet
Right away when I met Oscar & Margriet last year there was a really nice click and when they told me where they would get married I got even more enthousiastic! They decided to celabrate their love with a real festival wedding at the De Lievelinge campsite in Vuren, the Netherlands. Festival weddings are far and few between, so this was a real treat for this wedding photographer Utrecht! What a fan-tas-tic location that is!
Margriet started her preps in one of the glamping cabins, ‘Silverado’, while Oscar was getting ready in his Yurt ‘Sandokan’… Before we knew it, it was time for the first look of bride & groom, at the cabin in the woods.
The wedding ceremony was held at the pier of the lake and was decorated in true festival style with rustic chairs, colourful balloons and lush flowers and was followed by a toast. We stayed at the water-side for the reception but moved to the ‘mirror-tent’ a bit further at the campsite, wow, what a setting! The outside was again decorated in true festival/vintage style with flags, festival lights, pictures on a string, really magical! Just like our ride on the carousel, because ‘Flying is living!’ according to the Lievelinge campsite ;-).
Of course we had to take some pics at the mirror-tent, where the day concluded with a swinging party! Dear Oscar & Margriet, thank you for letting me capture your wonderful day, it was awesome!
