Authentic, unposed journalistic wedding photography the Netherlands

As award-winning journalistic wedding photographer Breda it is truly an honour to see some of my favourite images from last year’s wedding season in this very special edition of Fearless Photographers, the “Right on!” image gallery. Each and every one of them is an authentic, unposed, documentary wedding photography image, characteristic of the journalistic story-telling style of Defining Moments Photography and has been selected to feature in this gallery in the last month. And although they might not have been awarded a ‘real’ Fearless Award (yet), it is amazing to have been selected and showcased amongst these super-talented international wedding photographers of top-level. Right on!

The image on top has been shot on surely what has been one of the hottest days of last year’s wedding season, mercury rose up to a whopping 40 degrees! Luckily it was an outdoor wedding at a very lovely wedding venue just outside Breda, The Flemish Barn (De Vlaamsche Spijcker) in Dongen.

Rotterdam was the setting for a wedding we captured last September, we started the day at Hotel New York (where we shot this image) and moved on to De Vertrekhal for the rest of the day. This image was shot just before the ‘first look’ of bride & groom. An wonderful moment of an amazing day, check out the blogpost of Marielle & Ernesto’s beautiful day!

This last image was shot by my second shooter (and sister) Fiona during the lgbt wedding at Duurstede Castle (Kasteel Duurstede) near Utrecht where she caught this lovely moment between the flower girl and one of the brides.
